Paul Pogba was on Sunday, May 12, involved in a heated altercation with a section of fans at Old Trafford moments after Manchester United's 2-0 embarrassing defeat to Cardiff City.

Moments after the clash, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men gave a lap of honour to a nearly half-empty Old Trafford as most of the fans had already made their way out.

However, Pogba encountered a furious section of the fans on his way towards the tunnel who openly called out the Frenchman for his below par performance.

According to a UK Metro report, one of the fans could be heard shouting: "Ole! Ole! Ole! Sort him out!" while pointing to Pogba.

The Frenchman stood there listening before another supporter yelled, asking the midfielder to have some respect.

The former Juventus star eventually put his hands together and shrugged before finally reaching for the tunnel's exit.

Meanwhile, his future with the Premier League side remain uncertain ahead of the transfer window, with Real Madrid understood to be interested in his services.
