Nigerians have reacted to the victory of Governor Gboyega Oyetola after the appeal court nullified the judgement of the election tribunal which declared Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winner of the election.
The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja had on Thursday, May 9, ruled in favour of Oyetola, in the Osun 2018 governorship election case.
The election tribunal judgment had earlier ruled in favour of Senator Adeleke, declaring him winner of the election.
Reacting to the Court of Appeal judgement, some Nigerians said they were not surprised as they knew the tribunal judgement would not stand.

Below are some of the reactions:
Some are congratulating Oyetola for defeating Adeleke at the court.
Some others are of the opinion that power and money rules Nigeria.
According to Olawumi, Oyetola's victory is another four years of non-payment of salaries.
Recall that the three-member bench of the tribunal led by Justice Ibrahim Sirajo ruled in favour of Senator Adeleke. The tribunal delivered its judgment at the Federal High Court, Apo, Abuja on Friday, March 22.
Senator Adeleke and the PDP had put forward a total of 20 prayers including prayer asking to be declared winner of the election and be issued certificate of return by INEC.
