Recently, Legit.ng reported the death of pioneer filmmaker Eddi Ugbomah. The veteran act who passed away at age 78 was indeed one of Nollywood's greatest. Unfortunately, he has finally bid the Nigerian movie industry goodbye and this has caused many to react in very emotional ways.
The death of the great man has stirred a lot of emotions in the hearts of Nigerians especially at such a time like this. Many of them could not believe that the pioneer filmmaker has finally left the world.
Upon the realisation that Eddi was really gone for good, many Nigerians began to mourn him and react to his death in emotional ways. Comments flowed in on Twitter just as on other social media platforms.
Apart from the Nigerian populace, government agents and authorities could not help but also react to Eddi's death. For one, Steve Ayorinde, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy at The Lakes State Government, mourned the veteran filmmaker in a touching way.
