Yomi Sogunle blocks rapper Ruggedman over tweet on SARS who killed innocent Nigerian man

Social media was on frenzy after news broke that a young Nigerian man had been shot dead by some officers of the Nigerian police.

Legit.ng previously reported that residents of the Mangoro community had taken to the streets in protest following the death of the young man identified as Kunle.

It was gathered that an unmarked commercial bus occupied by policemen had visited the community in a bid to pick up youths dressed widely and those who wore dreadlocks. The shooting had occurred after one of the police operatives made an attempt to disperse the crowd.

The ugly incident had instantly offset a lot of people in the online community as many had held no reservations in bashing the Nigerian police force, and wondering if their lives were really safe in the hands of those that should be protecting them.

Shogunle had in turn responded to the tweet directed at him by the rap act, by blocking him and disabling any form of engagement between the both of them on the platform.

Sharing the news that he had been blocked, Ruggedman said: "Look who just blocked me because I said I am waiting on his tweet about an innocent man killed by a SARS officer. What a shame. If it's a dumb tweet or act he will be fast to comment. We bring you a serious case and you keep mute and block people. What a disgrace to @PoliceNG"
