Earlier on, Legit.ng reported the news of how a 19-year-old male student of Kogi state university was killed by political thugs during the presidential elections that took place on February 23, 2019.
The death of the young boy identified as Daniel Usman left many people in shock and heartbroken as just 15 hours before his death, he had taken to social media to preach against electoral violence.
Usman was buried on February 26, three days after his death. Friends of the deceased took to social media to mourn his death as they shared various photos from his burial which was filled with sadness and tears.

Another friend took to Facebook to write: "I thought by now I'll be calm and collected enough to type but I'm still shaking in shock and the tears won't stop flowing. Now that Daniel Usman has been killed what next? We'll all pretend that he never lived and just let his death lie low? What happens to the vacuum left to be filled in his family? What happens to the place left in church, in the hearts of friends and well wishers?
Daniel was taken away from us unjustly by political thugs and what is the govt doing about it? Absolutely nothing, they have left us to our fate and made us understand that it's one of those things. We refuse to let his death be in vain, we demand #Justice4UsmanDaniel his life cannot be wasted for nothing . His killers must be brought to book

Daniel is one of the most calm and collected highly gifted kids I was blessed to grow up with. It's so unfortunate that I heard some persons say he was trying to steal ballot box and others said he was one of the cultist/area boys around in death the world knew Daniel, he was made popular. I pray this brings a total redemption to igala land and the world as a whole.
If you still deliberately want to vote in this govt into power after the turn out of events. I pray the Lord touches your souls.
