On February 23, 2019, a number of Nigerians trooped out to cast their votes during the presidential elections in various parts of the country.

However the days that followed were a bit tense as people awaited the results. After four gruelling days, the result was eventually announced and Muhammadu Buhari was declared as the President of Nigeria.

The announcement raised different interesting reactions from a number of people.

Legit.ng has gathered the report of a young man who was quite happy with the result and even behaved in an unconventional way.

The man, who lives in Bauchi, had vowed to soak himself inside a grimy gutter for 10 minutes if Buhari won the election.

Meanwhile Legit.ng previously reported that another young lady also took to social media to react to the news of Buhari's win and she did not seem too happy about it.

The Nigerian lady had filmed herself weeping and lamenting severely to the heavens for making the incumbent emerge as winner for his re-election bid.

She repeatedly mouthed the same question in between fits of heavy sobbing. She said: "God, why Buhari? Why did you give us Buhari again? God, we don’t want Buhari"
