A Nigerian man had taken to social media to narrated how his friend passed away a year after welcoming a baby girl. The grieving friend had shared the sad story on popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
The Twitter user revealed that his friend had gotten married in 2008, and it took he and his wife ten years to have their own child.
According to the Twitter thread, the man and his wife were blessed with a baby girl. The Twitter user revealed that his friend lost his life a year after he welcomed his baby girl.

In the thread, the Twitter user said he wondered if his friend's wife would remarry, if the new husband would take care of his children just like the man did himself.
He also stated that incidents like this makes him fear for his little kids, their school, their upbringing and family outings.

According to him, his late friend had even called him to thank him for the money he had sent to him but he did not pick up the call because he did not want to hear his friend say thank you to him.
The Twitter user noted that he regrets not picking the call and hear his voice for the last time.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Nigerian woman identified as, Ibisaki Amachree, who worked as electoral officer in Abonnema, Rivers state, was shot dead during the election violence that occurred in the area. The woman was a mother of two children.
