- The man shared a video of the pastor asking members to pay $5000 (N1.8m) for mantle
- He noted that pastors have made God into a God that always needs money
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has come under fire after he was filmed allegedly asking his members to pay $5000 for mantle. The pastor was called out on social media by a Nigerian pilot who criticised his guidance.
The pastor was the former president of the Christian Association of Nigeria and senior pastor of the Word of Life Bible Church in Warri, Delta state.
In the video, the pastor was heard telling the members at a church in the United States, Morris Cerullo, to pay $5000 (N1.8m) for mantle. He had also told the congregation that they would not miss God if they do so.

Nigerian pilot identified as Jygga Collins shared the video on his Instagram page. In his post, he accused the pastor of being a fake for asking people to pay such amount not to miss God.
The pilot noted that what they pastor means is that people who don't have the money would miss God. He said some pastors have turned Yahweh into a God that needs money.
