The former governor of Oyo state, Rashidi Ladoja, has vowed to take legal action against ADC's candidates using his pictures on their campaign posters and billboards.

Legit.ng regional reporter in Oyo, Imran Khalid, reports that while speaking on Lagelu FM 88.1 on Saturday, January 5, he said he had been engaging on media tour since his defection from ADC to ZLP with a view to intimating the people of the state that he had left ADC

He noted that his continuous appearance on radio stations was to warn all the ADC candidates in the state to stop using his pictures on their campaign posters and billboards.

Ladoja said he had been telling the concerned candidates to refrain from what could cause problems between the ADC and the ZLP he had just defected to, adding that failure of the candidates who fail to comply would face legal action.

He said he left ADC following injustice and impunity that were the order of the day in the party, as he noted that there were many faceless people who were upturning every decision that he (Ladoja) and other leaders had made.

The former governor said he could not deny being instrumental to Olufemi Lanlehin's emergence as ADC gubernatorial candidate but said it was unfortunate that Lanlehin who was supposed to endorse his anointed running mate was denied the privilege by the faceless people in the party.

He said many things that went wrong in the party and which the faceless people in the party were not allowed to correct triggered his defection.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that former governor of Oyo state, Rashidi Ladoja, said that majority of his loyalists do not know that he had left African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
