Juventus secure their passage into the quarter finals of Coppa Italia with a win over Bologna

- Juventus defeat Bologna 2-0 in Coppa Italia game to qualify into last eight

- Federico Bernardeschi and Moise Keane scored in each half of the match

- Ronaldo made a second half appearance but failed to find the back of the net

Juventus qualified into the next round of the Coppa Italia following a 2-0 win away at Bologna.

Max Allegri fielded a seemingly weak squad with Cristiano Ronaldo and likes kept on the bench for the encounter.

But that did not matter as Juve took the lead as early as the seventh minute as Federico Bernardeschi pounced on a defensive error by the home side to slot into an empty net to make it 1-0.

Bologna goalkeeper and defender collided after failing to allow the ball for each other as the ball fell kindly for Bernardeschi, who was on hand to score an easy goal.

The Bianocneri took the advantage in the dressing room at half time as there were no further goals recorded in the first 45 minutes.

Four minutes after the restart, the Old Lady doubled their advantaged through Italy's U-19 international Moise Kean, giving Allegri's side a comfortable 2-0 win.

Ronaldo was brought on in the 62nd minute for Kean while Dybala also made a substitute appearance in the 77th but both stars failed to register their name on the scoresheet.

Juve held on to sail into the quarter finals of the Coppa Italia as they maintain their unbeaten run in both league and cup games.
