Real Madrid tell Man City to beat Ronaldo fee for the signing of their superstar

- Premier League champions Manchester City are interested in the signing of Real Madrid star Isco

- The midfielder has fallen out of favor under new manager Santiago Solari this season at the Bernabeu

- But Los Blancos' chiefs want more than £100m from any team that want to sign the Spaniard

Real Madrid star Isco has emerged as a January 2018 target for Premier League champions Manchester City, and the Citizens will have to meet his transfer clause for them to sign him.

Although the Spanish football star is under contract at Real Madrid till the year 2022, but lack of active playing time this season under Solari at the Bernabeu could force him out of the club.

Manchester City are said to be readying a bid of around £80m, but Real Madrid will be reluctant to accept anything below €100m (£89.95m) according to the report by AS.

The Citizens were reported to have been interested in signing Isco back in 2013 when he was set to leave Malaga only for Madrid to beat the Premier League side to his signature.

And now, City manager Pep Guardiola wants Isco to be part of his squad next year, and he will have to spend big for him to get the Spaniard.

Real Madrid president Perez is a fan of Isco and any move would have to make him the most expensive departure from the Bernabeu which would mean more than Ronaldo's big-money move to Juventus in the summer.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Jose Mourinho reportedly told Manchester United chiefs to sign Real Madrid star Isco to avoid him from joining rivals, Manchester City.

Both Manchester clubs and Chelsea are lobbying to sign Isco amid the uncertainties about the Spaniard’s future and the Santiago Bernabeu.
