- It is the season of campaign for the 2019 general elections, therefore political parties will do all they can to win supporters in their folds ahead of the forthcoming elections
- Various political parties are taking their campaigns to different parts of the country as the forthcoming elections will not be a walkover for any of them
- This may be the reason the Lagos state publicity secretary of the APC, Joe Igbokwe, posted fake pictures on his Facebook page to distort the reality of what really happened during the party's presidential campaign in Akwa Ibom state
Following the launch of the All Progressives Congress 2019 presidential campaign at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, publicity secretary of the party in Lagos state have posted two images showing massive turnout at the campaign.

Igbokwe, who claimed that the pictures were from the APC rally at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, was unaware that the tent in the middle of the second picture is not the same with the ones APC shared on its social media pages.
It should also be noted that the crowd present on the actual pitch of the Uyo stadium was not close to that shared by Igbokwe.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari arrived Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom state, with top members of All Progressives Congress (APC) to flag off the 2019 presidential campaign.
The special adviser to the president on new media, Bashir Ahmad, made this known through his verified Twitter handle, @Bashirahmaad, on Friday, December 28.
Ahead of the president's arrival, there was a heavy security beef up at the Godswill Akpabio stadium as vehicular movements were restricted around the stadium while vehicles that conveyed supporters were parked along adjourning streets.
