A Nigerian artiste identified by his stage name, Dannyyoung, has taken to social media to accuse a fellow artiste of intellectual property theft. The artiste accused popular Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, of stealing his content.
The singer shared a video claiming that Tiwa Savage had stolen his content from a song titled Oju Tiwon, which he released in 2009.
In his post, Dannyyoung claimed that he never knew he would become a victim of intellectual property theft. He also claimed that he was surprised that the content was stolen by Savage who is one of his favourite female artiste.

He further added that someone like Dannyyoung who is an international act would steal his content.
Dannyyoung said: "I never knew I would be a victim of intellectual property theft until now. the worst pain is that my song was stolen by Tiwa savage who happens to be one of my favorite female artiste."

However, the singer's fans and followers did not argee with his accusations, many of them stated that the words used in the 2009 song and the new single released by Tiwa Savage is a popular proverb that belongs to no one.
