“I've always said, when I knew I had a chance to come here I didn't have to think twice. The right club in the right moment and with the right coach as well. I came here and was very happy. For me, I have made the best decision in my career,” submitted a visibly excited Mane.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported Sadio Mane was not in the best mood after he was booed by Senegal’s Teranga Lions fans during their 1-0 win over Equatorial Guinea in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match.
The Group A encounter at Estadio de Bata saw the Liverpool star fail to convert a glorious opportunity to increase Senegal lead, and the miss did not go down well with the fans at the stands, even though the west African nation already gained passage with the slim victory for next summer AFCON in Cameroon.
However, at the blast of the final whistle, Mane could hardly hold back the tears as he broke down and required his jersey to clean up before his teammates came to assist him into the dressing room.
