Davido rants after he was denied Eko Atlantic as concert venue for December show reportedly for political reasons

- DMW star, David ‘Davido’ Adeleke, was set to hold his December concert at Eko Atlantic, a choice location in Lagos state

- However the venue was reportedly not approved for his use by the state and the star has taken to social media to show his displeasure

- Some of his fans seem to feel that the denial of the venue is politically motivated due to his support for People’s Democratic Party (PDP), while the state government is run by APC

- Despite that Davido promised to reveal a new venue to the public soon

The end of the year 2018 is coming close and a number of Nigerian entertainers are already having plans to host shows that would entertain their fans by December.

It has become a sort of tradition for Decembers in Lagos to be filled with several award shows and music concerts as stars always record massive turn out from fans.

DMW star, Davido, had plans to hold his December concert at choice area in Lagos state, Eko Atlantic, but he was denied the venue.

The Nwa Baby star took to his Twitter handle to rant after he discovered that the location wasn’t approved for his show.

He tweeted:

Some of his fans seem to think its politically motivated because of his involvement with his uncle's campaign while others feel he should find out the real reason he wasn't allowed to use the venue, instead of assuming. However the star promised not to switch sides.

Recall that Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke, ran for the post of Osun State governor under the umbrella of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and the star was very instrumental in his campaign.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that the star debunked rumours that his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, had passed on.

The 25-year-old singer took to his Instagram page to make this clear to the general public. He shared a picture of himself with the senator and then went on to write a caption that stated that he was still alive. Not only that, the Nwa Baby crooner took to insulting those who had wished his uncle dead.
