There was drama at Igando area of Lagos state on Friday, September 14, when a cow that was being led to a slaughter house attacked a woman at Igando phase 2 bus stop, along LASU road.
After the attack, the fierce cow which was ready to attack anybody, refused to move an inch from the area despite all persuasions while those leading it to the slaughter house called for help.
The woman, according to spectators, was gored in her abdomen with her intestines coming out. She was immediately rushed to Igando general hospital.

The situation almost degenerated into a free for all fight as some of the spectators advocated that the cow should be detained until the welfare of the woman was ascertained. Others called for the cow to be butchered right on the spot and its meat shared.
Eventually, some people prevailed on the spectators to allow the cow leave the area as it continues to attract more angry crowd.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that the police in Karu, a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory ( FCT), Abuja, arrested 84 foreigners who reportedly sneaked into the country at the Karu abattoir.
The foreigners from Niger Republic, were arrested by a police patrol team stationed at the abattoir when they entered the area in a suspicious manner.
