- The chairman of R-APC, Buba Galadima and his son Sadiq, have been involved in auto crash

- The accident occurred on Monday, July 23, along Hadeija-Kano road when he was coming from Yobe state

- A source close to Galadima's family, Emmanuel Sawyerr said that the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) which R-APC chairman was travelling in somersaulted several times

The chairman of the Reformed All Progressives Congress (R-APC), Buba Galadima, has been involved in a ghastly motor accident.

New Telegraph reports that though reports were sketchy at press time, available information indicated that Galadima who was returning from Yobe state on Monday, July 23, where he went to condole with his brother who lost his daughter, was in the company of his son, Sadiq Galadimma, a relative Mohammed Galadima and two others when the unfortunate incident happened along Hadeija-Kano road.

NAIJ.com gathered that a leader of R-APC coalition network, Emmanuel Sawyerr, who is close to the Galadima's family was quoted as saying that the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) which Galadima was travelling in somersaulted several times.

Sawyerr could not confirm the exact cause of the accident but he said that at the moment, the R-APC chairman and all the occupants of the vehicle survived the crash.

He added that another vehicle was currently conveying them to Kano for medical checks.

“They were already very close to Kano when the accident happened so they are being taken to Kano at the moment,” he said.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed that 53 persons were lost their lives in a fatal road crash that occurred on Thursday evening, December 8, at Abudu town along Benin-Agbor-Onitsha express road.
