Just after the music artiste Tekno was slammed by the Nigerian veteran music duo Danfo Drivers, for stealing their song without their consent, Ubi Franklin has amusingly reacted to it.
The music executive reacted to the allegation saying that his team contacted the music duo, but they never responded, adding that they weren't giving any specific answer.
He wrote on his Instagram: ”We contacted them sha and it was one story or the other smh. This actually makes me laugh.”

Recall NAIJ.com reported that the Music duo, Danfo Drivers, came for Tekno over what they believe is stolen intellectual property, according to them, he didn't seek permission before sampling their song Kpolongo on his latest single.
The music duo in an interview after their performance at the recently held Headies awards, they expressed displeasure towards Tekno's sampling of their Kpologo song without seeking permission.

According to Mountain Black, they deserve some credit for their intellectual property and they are willing to go to any length to get it from the singer who they claim didn't do right by them.
