Already crowned La Liga winners Barcelona defeated Villarreal 5 - 1 at the Camp Nou in their La Liga matchday 34 clash.
Barca boss, Ernesto Valverde, made some changes from his side that played a 2 - 2 with rivals Real Madrid on Sunday May 6 which saw star striker Luis Suarez start from the bench.

Star man, Lionel Messi sent the game home for Barca as he netted the third for the Catalan outfit. The Argentine met a perfect cross from Andres Iniesta deep inside the box, and he produced an accurate strike which goes into the bottom right corner.
And at the end of the first 45 minutes it was Barcelona that walked into the tunnel with a three goal lead.
The visitors got their consolation in the 54th minutes as Pablo Fornals lined up a shot and his effort took a deflection off Nicola Sansone that wrong foot Jasper Cillessen and sent it into the back of the net.

Barca went into Rampage in the 87th minute as Ivan Rakitic sprayed a pass out to Ousmane Dembele, and he has an easy job to slot the ball into an empty net to make the scoreline 4 - 1.
Ousmane Dembele finally got a much awaited brace in the 90+3 minutes of the game as he went on a mazy run and from inside the box he and beat Sergio Asenjo with a delightful chip.
Barcelona will next square off against in-form Levante away from home as they once again hope to continue with their impressive undefeated campaign.
