Former militant commander, Israel Eshanekpe Apkodoro, has taken Reno Omokri who has constantly been on the neck of President Muhammadu Buhari to the cleaners, describing him as a person suffering from mental illness that needed the attention of psychiatrists.
Reno Omokri has been criticizing the administration of President Buhari, throwing stones at his anti-corruption fight and attributing the ongoing economic recession to Buhari’s poor handling of the national economy.
Omokri also attributed the outbreak of Meningitis to President Muhammadu Buhari’s sins against Nigeria for spending Nigeria’s money on his treatment in London but failing to care for the vulnerable and suffering Nigerians.

Following Omokri’s vituperations against Buhari, Akpodoro said Omokri, who was former New Media adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan, needed to be arrested and quizzed by the Directorate of State Security (DSS) as he is inciting Nigerians against the president, noting that Omokri has crossed the line and needed to answer questions from the national security agencies.
In an email to NAIJ.com, Akpodoro, who is national president of National Coalition of Niger Delta Ex-Agitators, said Omokri needed to know that Buhari is old enough to be his grandfather, hence the President deserves respect from him.

Akpodoro, who is also the national coordinator of Urhobo Youth Forum for Change, called on Omokri to tell Nigerians whether the 2014 Ebola outbreak that claimed many lives in Nigeria was caused by Jonathan’s innumerable sins against the Nigeria people, wondering why Omokri would tie the outbreak of Meningitis to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Omokri, Akpodoro said, is still living in the past when sickness and spread of diseases were linked to witchcraft and gods saying such era was gone for good in the African continent.
The ex-militant leader warned Omokri against his needless attacks on President Buhari, asking him to explain to Nigerians who committed sins again the people of Nigeria between his boss, former President Goodluck Jonathan and President Muhammadu Buhari.
Akpodoro alleged that Jonathan promoted insurgency, militancy, impunity, wanton corruption, lies and dishonesty in governance but President Buhari is waging war against insurgency, criminality, corruption, impunity and also developing massive infrastructure for greater Nigerian state.
"It is on record that Omorki’s former boss was the worst government leader in Africa. His government was the most corrupt, inept, clueless, dishonest, reckless and most unproductive in terms infrastructural development while Omokri and many other Jonathan's hangers - on smiled to the banks on daily basis at the detriment of public good.

“Omokri is unarguably crying more than the bereaved because never again would he have the opportunity to reap from massive corruption they enjoyed in Nigeria. We know their- PDP pains lie in the deactivation of its ATM machine which is the Nigeria's commonwealth.
“The slush fund for all PDP leaders and their errand boys is no more and we aren't surprised that the low life Omokri is still crying wolf while others in his league have embraced the reality of the loss of their boss at the 2015 election,” Akpodoro noted.

He added that history will not forgive the man who appointed a person like Omokri into position of influence, noting that at different times Cholera outbreak claimed lives and no one ever tied it to any government’s sin but for the fact that unscrupulous elements like Omokri who were in minority won't rest on their needless propaganda against the government of the people of Nigeria.
He said: "We voted President Buhari to deliver quality service to us the good people of Nigeria and that he's doing, we don't need the Omokris of this world to tell us whose sin we are being punished for be it real or imagined.
“The psychiatric hospitals in Nigeria are grossly under-utilized if not, Omokri in a saner clime would have been manacled and taken to the psychiatric facility for proper examination."
