A Boko Haram attacks on a military check-point outside the city of Maiduguri has resulted in the death of a soldier while another police has been confirmed injured.
According to The Punch, the attack was carried out in the evening on Wednesday, 12 by two male suicide bombers who detonated their explosives at a checkpoint in Dalori.

Other terrorists who were around opened fire that killed a soldier and left a policeman injured.
A military officer who spoke on the condition of anonymity confirmed the attack.
“We lost a soldier in the Boko Haram attack at Dalori Sector 3 checkpoint while a mobile policeman was injured.”
Babakura Kolo who is a civilian vigilante also confirmed the attack saying the terrorists carted away weapons.

He however said military reinforcement was able to push the terrorists back.
The attack sent shock waves throughout the village and in the IDP camp nearby.
