Nigerian troops has continued its clearance operations of suspected Boko Haram terrorists hideouts.
On Sunday, April 10, troops of 155 task force battalion carried a clearance operation in Nimila village.
According to the spokesperson of the Nigerian army, Colonel Kukasheka Usman, they rescued 14 people from the captivity of the insurgents and recovered weapons.
Those rescued were mostly women and children.
Three dane guns, a single barrel and two double barrels were recovered.

Also recovered were three motorcycles abandoned by the terrorists, in addition to two mobile telephone handsets.
The army has been recording victory in the ongoing war against Boko Haram insurgency. On March 29, Nigerian soldiers cleared out the supposed spiritual headquarters of Boko Haram terrorists in Alagarno forest, Borno state.
