Meet Gbenga Artsmith Jewelry
Artsmith Collections was founded in 2008 by West Africa’s most renowned male jewellery designer, Gbenga Ayo-Dada. The Artsmith Collections pieces of Jewelry are all handmade, using precious and semi-precious stones sourced from Nigeria, Hong Kong, Italy, and China. Founded in 2018 by Eki Ogunbor, KISARA is a Nigerian fashion brand that specializes in handcrafted leather pieces with a stylish twist. The brand became popular after it’s runway debut at Lagos Fashion Week in 2018 and it’s nature-inspired designs using wicker as a key material to add a stylish edge to its designs. The ideal KISARA woman loves colour and texture and this is who the brand caters to, with colourful, stylish pieces that are heavily influenced by the designer’s background in fashion design and fashion writing. KISARA takes pride in it’s contribution to the African fashion industry, creating jobs for local artisans in Nigeria and using locally sourced materials.
