Spain vs Sweden ended 3-0 in favour of the home team as Luis Enrique's side scored three second half goals to maintain their 100 per cent record in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.

The Spanish side made their intentions known in the opening 15 minutes of the match as Fabian and Daniel Parejo forced superb saves from Robin Olsen.

A few minutes later, Rodrigo found the back of the net but the referee's assistant ruled the ball as an offside. Sergio Ramos also produced a glancing header from a corner but Olsen was equal to the task as he fisted the ball away.

Sweden survived the scare in the first 45 minutes but the La Roja had other ideas coming in the second half.

Isco had a glaring chance on goal in the 53rd minute but the Real Madrid midfielder could not position his shot on target as the scores remain 0-0.

Robin Quaison should have put the Scandinavians ahead just before the hour mark but the young striker shot straight to Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Then the turning point of the match came when Sebastian Larsson's hand deflected Marco Asensio's cross as the referee pointed to the spot for a penalty.

And Ramos took a bold step to send the keeper the wrong way to give Spain a 1-0 lead. The deadlock was finally broken in the 64th minute.

Substitute Alvaro Morata won another penalty for Spain in the 84th minute as a mistimed challenged from Filip Helander caught the Chelsea striker.

Ramos gave Morata the responsibility and he did not disappoint, as he doubled the advantage to give his country an unassailable 2-0 lead with six minutes left to play.
