The former and first-ever Tanzanian MTV Base VJ, who has also explored excelled as a Television present, Radio personality and as an Activist sure looks picture perfect in a purple fur jacket on the Magazine cover.
Vanessa Mdee talks to Nigerian music journalist Joey Akan about her journey in music, struggles and success. The Universal Music signed artiste also highlighted how she had to single-handedly push her career after her first record deal went south.
