Social media was set recently set abuzz following the unexpected loss of football team Barca, to Liverpool in the Tuesday, May 7, Champions League football match.
As a result, Nigerians flooded popular micro blogging platform Twitter, to drag Barca team player Lionel Messi, for his performance in the match.
In a twist, social media users managed to drag Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe into the whole matter by hilariously suggesting that it was she (Mercy) that played on the football pitch as opposed to the legendary footballer, Messi.

Reacting to the funny development the screen diva took to her social media platform with a post in which she wondered how she managed to be brought into the whole football matter.
''Nigerians will not kill me oh ♀️♀️♀️ Wetin be my own for this football matter, that people have been tagging me since.'' she said.
