Man United star gets ‘ultimatum’ on when to complete Real Madrid switch

- Paul Pogba has reportedly been handed a transfer deadline to complete a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu

.- The World Cup winner has been repeatedly linked with a £160m move to Real Madrid

- Pogba is keen to leave Old Trafford and play under the tutelage of idol Zinedine Zidane

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly been issued a deadline by Real Madrid to complete a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu.

According to The Mirror, the French World Cup winner and Chelsea star Eden Hazard is one of the two top players Los Blancos boss Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is targeting, towards rebuilding the Galaticos squad ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

The report claim Zidane has now warned his compatriot to sign this summer as one of his marquee signings or miss out playing for Real Madrid.

On the hand, Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eager on turn the Red Devils team around Pogba, but a £160m transfer fee expected from Pogba’s sale will no doubt also help in turning around the club’s fortune on the pitch.

In addition, if the pair of David de Gea and Romelu Lukaku join the departing party, Solskjaer would equally get more transfer funds to spend during the summer window.

Already, Pogba has admitted it would be a "dream" to join Real Madrid, a statement that suggest the Frenchman is keen on making the move to the Spanish capital.

However, Zidane is not ready to wait any longer than necessary for Pogba, with time not enough to revamp the Real Madrid squad that performed woefully in the La Liga and the Champions League this campaign.

According to The Sun, Zidane has also expressed his desire to sign Pogba this summer or not at all to his agent Mino Raiola.

Interestingly, Pogba intended £160m transfer fee is not straightforward as some Real Madrid players, who are on the radar on United are involved too.

Spanish reports suggest the pair of Gareth Bale and Toni Kroos has been offered, with United chiefs pressing for Kroos, but Solskjaer would rather have Raphael Varane join United in any deal involving Pogba.

The Norwegian sees highly-rated French defender as a lynchpin of a new-look United backline.

It remains to be seen if the two clubs will get their transfer wishes at the end of the day.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Paul Pogba’s brother, Florentin, believes he will leave Man United for Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer.

According Metro citing Spanish news channel AS, Los Blancos manage Zinedine Zidane has reportedly listed his compatriot as a top midfield target as prepares to carry out a massive overhaul of Real Madrid.

The 26-year-old Pogba would gladly jump at any opportunity to play under the tutelage of his childhood idol.
