Following the recent release of sensational Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), a veteran entertainer has now pleaded for the release of his colleague Naira Marley, who is still in detention.

It was also reported that one of the duo, Zlatan, eventually regained his freedom from the EFCC, but his friend Marley is still being held by the EFCC.
In a recent development, much loved musician Daddy Showkey has now waded into the continued detention of Naira Marley and pleaded for his release.

Showkey shared a video on his Instagram page and expressed that he has been getting a lot of calls and messages from people to throw his support behind the singer, but he held back because Marley had been rude to his elders in the industry.
He, however, noted that the Am I A Yahoo Boy crooner is just a young man who has made his mistakes and should be pardoned for it.
