Guardian Angels – a new Friday weekly insert, was unveiled by the Chairman of the company, Lady Maiden Ibru, alongside Princess Tessy of Luxembourg at the 7 Wonder Women Awards ceremony organized by Anita Kouassigan; Founder of Investing In Women.
“Our aim is to work with a range of local, regional, and international brands and people. For 35 years, The Guardian Nigeria has published Guardian newspaper – its flagship daily, popular for incisive reportage, vibrant opinion and analysis, and fiery editorials. In the last three years, Guardian Nigeria has become a leading and active voice in the Nigerian digital publishing landscape – being the only traditional media outfit in the country with a dedicated digital newsroom, amplifying The Guardian voice on social and on www.guardian.ng
Guardian Angels joins the list of successful inserts in The Guardian family including Guardian Woman, Guardian Music, and Guardian Life. The new imprint will focus on social impact, philanthropy, entrepreneurship, and corporate social responsibility.
The event was anchored by comedian/actor Chigul and featured Soul songstress and pianist Kaline. It was an evening of good food and fine wine.
