Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Could Move to an African Country after Birth of their Child

ASNI, MOROCCO – FEBRUARY 24: Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex watch students play football during their visit to Lycée Qualifiant Grand Atlas, the local secondary school on February 24, 2019 in Asni, Morocco.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be moving to an African country after their first child is born, The Sunday Times is reporting.

The report said the couple could move abroad for two or three years to carry out work on behalf of the Commonwealth and charity work.

David Manning, former British ambassador to the U.S and special adviser on international affairs to Prince Harry, has proposed a plan for the couple to take on a more international position, the report said.

However, a decision is not expected until 2020, giving the couple time to raise their child in their home at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, The Sunday Times said.

A Buckingham Palace spokesperson told CNN: “Any future plans for The Duke & Duchess are speculative at his stage. No decisions have been taken about future roles.”
