Hundreds of supporters trooped out to welcome Senator Dino Melaye at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria where the lawmaker attended his convocation ceremony.
In photos shared on social media on Saturday, April 27, Melaye was seen surrounded by a jubilant crowd who thronged to catch a glimpse of the lawmaker.

Melaye who represents represents Kogi west district in the National Assembly was so thrilled at the very important person (VIP) treatment he got that he promised not to let Nigerians down.
"See the crowd following one man. It can only be God... I won't let you down I promise Nigerians," he tweeted when referring to picture showing supporters surrounding him.
In another photo, the senator said his conservation ceremony was for his Master of Science (MSC) degree in international relations and diplomacy.

In another news, Senator Dino Melaye has alleged that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state is planning to borrow the sum N32bn from Sterling Bank.
The lawmaker who represents Kogi west district in the National Assembly, made the allegation in a tweet on Friday, April 26.
He warned that Sterling Bank should expect a court action and a mass protest if it gives out the loan to the Kogi state government.
