A child bride age 15 has been arrested for allegedly poision her husband Sale Abubakar, 33 in Bechi Village, in Kumbotso LGA of Kano.
Daily Trust reports that Kano Police Command’s spokesperson DSP Abdullahi Haruna said the command received a report on April 16th, that Hassana gave Abubakar food with rat poison in it.
Haruna said investigation has commenced and Abubakar is currently receiving treatment at Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital Kano.
Haruna added that the teenager would be charged to court after investigation.
