- Maurizio Sarri has been fired at Premier League side Chelsea
- The 60-year-old Italian has been replaced with ex Blues' boss Jose Mourinho
- Chelsea are currently occupying sixth position on the Premier League standings
Premier League giants Chelsea have fired manager Maurizio Sarri with seven games to end the 2018/19 Premier League season and replaced him with Jose Mourinho.
Despite the Blues' win over Cardiff City in their last Premier League game on Sunday, March 31, the victory failed to save Maurizio Sarri from being fired at Stamford Bridge.
Sarri has been under serious pressure at Chelsea since the Blues' Premier League embarrassing defeat against Manchester City.
But many football fans believed the Blues' chiefs would wait till the end of the ongoing Premier League season before allowing the Italian to leave the club.

Jose Mourinho will now be making his third return to Chelsea as manager and the Portuguese is expected to make sure the Blues finish among the top four clubs when season comes to an end.
Since the ex Real Madrid gaffer was sacked at Manchester United, he has been out of coaching job although Mourinho has been seen many times doing punditry job.
Chelsea are currently occupying sixth position on the Premier League standings with 60 points after 31 games played this term.
