A Nigerian man has taken to social media to cry out after his niece returned from school with strange markings and cuts all over her bother.
A school for children is meant to be a place where knowledge is instilled and manners groomed through discipline. However, some schools take the idea of discipline to the extreme so much that it becomes a case of abuse.
A Twitter user identified as @irep_edo, recently took to the platform to share photos of his niece who returned from school with wounds all over her little body, including her face. He wrote: "My niece came back from school yesterday with strange cuts and markings. The class teacher or proprietor hasn't given any explaination till now."

He later revealed on the platform that their lawyers have been invloved in the case as they have been at the police station trying to figure out the case.

In a similar story a while ago, the Nasarawa state government’s education ministry suspended the principal and two other staff of Government Science School, Nasarawa Eggon, in Nasarawa state over severe punishment melted on female students who resumed late.
Leadership reports that the principal, the compound master and the staff who posted the video of the punishment on the social media were suspended till further notice.
