Attacks by armed bandits in the Birnin Gwari local government area of Kaduna state have caused many villagers to abandon their houses and farm lands.

Legit.ng gathers that a community leader disclosed: “Our people are being killed daily; some are kidnapped daily, including our wives and daughters by these bandits.
“This is why the people had to flee their villages to run away from the bandits who attacked them at will.
“These bandits are mobile and they move freely from one village to another to attack people. The same bandits that killed about 15 people last week Monday at Damari village are same people attacking other villages.”
The Kaduna state police command’s spokesperson, Yakubu Sabo, reportedly declined to comment on the matter.
