The general overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly (LRA), Pastor Tunde Bakare, met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa on Thursday, February 28.
According to Leadership, the visit may have something to do with the president’s recent electoral victory.

Legit.ng gathers that the cleric did not speak with State House correspondents after the meeting.
Bakare was Buhari’s running mate in the 2011 presidential elections. Both men had run on the platform of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Pastor Tunde Bakare stated that he told President Muhammadu Buhari that he (Bakare) would become Nigeria's 16th president.
The cleric made the statement in an interview in Calgary, Canada, adding that he was building a political family from across the world which would be deployed for future political aspirations.
Bakare said President Buhari is the 15th president or head of state of the country, and that he (Bakare) would be the 16th.
