Atiku meets south south leaders, vows to recover stolen mandate

- Atiku Abubakar has vowed again to get his mandate back

- The PDP presidential candidate sought the support of south south leaders

- Edwin Clark promised Atiku adequate support in his struggle

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has vowed to reclaim his stolen mandate.

The former vice president has approached the electoral tribunal to challenge the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the election.

The Nation reports that Atiku spoke on Wednesday, March 20, when he met with the leaders of the southern and middle belt regions.

He said he needed their support in order to be able to reclaim his mandate.

Meanwhile, the south-south leader, Chief Edwin Clark, assured Atiku of the support of the group in his struggle.

In an earlier report, an Enugu-based prophet, Anthony Nwoko, advised the PDP presidential candidate to withdraw the case he instituted against the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the just concluded election.

Legit.ng regional reporter in Enugu, Chinedu Ikpechukwu, reports that Prophet Nwoko said that the chapter of the opposition PDP has been closed from the heaven.

He also told the leaders of IPOB, MASSOB, BIM and other pro-Biafran agitators that they do not have the mandate of God to lead the struggle for the real freedom of the people.
