Following the upcoming 2019 general elections, stakeholders in the entertainment industry have used their individual platforms to charge their fans to get involved in carrying out their civic responsibilities. One of such is popular singer Davido, who has been very vocal about his opinions as it concerns the elections.
The singer who has often taken to social media to show his unreserved support towards the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has been cheered by some on the online community while others have simply questioned the reasons behind his actions.
One of such social media user is a lady identified as Tlolo, who recently shaded Davido in a social media post. The lady had implied in her post that the celebrity had sold his soul, hence his support for the political party.
The post had however not been well received by the Wonder Woman crooner, who had responded in a brutal post in which he had body-shamed the lady.
However, many on the online community had in turn frowned at the singer’s response, as they rebuked his blatant disrespect for women. The rebuke for his response was also met by the fact that this was a singer who had a fairly recent song in which he had showered adulation on females all over the world.

Seeing that he may have gone a bit too far with his words, the singing star took to his social media page in a series of long posts in which he had apologized for his words and revealed that he was deeply hurt by the accusations leveled against him.

Tlolo, however, took to her Instagram story with a post in which she dismissed the apology by the singer. She went on to add that regardless of what the matter could have been, resorting to body shaming a woman should never have been a course of action for the singer.
She concluded her post by saying both parties should move on in.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously gathered the report of superstar singer 2baba, who had revealed his stand on domestic violence against women. A social media user had posed a question at the singer, asking if it was true that he beat up his wife. He responded by saying he could never try it.
