- Maurizio Sarri excluded Kepa Arrizabalaga from the squad that defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night
- This came few days after the goalkeeper disrespected the team and manager in their EFL Cup defeat to Man City
- A goal from Pedro and an own goal from Kieran Trippier sealed the win for the Blues as they remained sixth on the log
Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri dropped Kepa Arrizabalaga from his side's starting line-up against Tottenham Hotspurs at Stamford Bridge.
The move came just three days after the duo's substitution drama in Chelsea's EFL Cup final defeat to Man City at Wembley.

At the time, Sarri unsuccessfully attempted to substitute Kepa in the dying minutes of the match in a tactical decision, but the Spanish goalkeeper declined in bizarre fashion, leaving the manager fuming.
In apparent move to restore sanity within Chelsea's dressing room, the Italian tactician benched Kepa during the Spurs' encounter, with Willy Caballero taking the Spaniard's place between the sticks.

Caballero went on to stage an incredible performance, keeping a clean sheet as Chelsea won 2-0 to mount more pressure on Manchester United and Arsenal in their push to break into the top four.
Speaking on his decision to axe Kepa from Chelsea's starting squad, Sarri admitted he was keen to send a message to his wards.
"It’s a choice. It’s a message for my group. That we are a group and not 25 players. It’s my choice," the UK Metro quoted Sarri.
Kepa has since been fined a weekly wages by the club even after publicly apologising to Sarri.
