A fresh video trending on social media has shown the controversial senator representing Kogi West district at the National Assembly doling out an alleged N2,000 to an aged supporter who designed a campaign message for the lawmaker.
The man, whose name could not be ascertained at the time of this report, inscribed ‘vote for Dino;’ on his head.
The video showed the man crying to see the senator minutes before Dino Melaye came out and called the man.
He, thereafter, appreciated the supporter with the amount.
A report claimed that shed tears after he learnt that the election supposed to hold on February 16, was postponed.
Legit.ng earlier reported that the high court sitting in Maitama, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and presided over by Justice Yusuf Halilu recently granted bail to Dino Melaye, who was earlier arraigned on a nine-count charge of trying to evade arrest.
Melaye, who represents Kogi West at the upper legislative chamber of the National Assembly, is facing issues of alleged conspiracy, resistance to arrest, failure to honour police invitation and intentionally giving false information to the public.
