Award winning Nollywood filmmaker Charles Novia has taken to his Instagram handle to announce the sudden demise of his beloved mother, Clara Osayuware Uwaifo.
According to Novia, he disclosed that his mother passed away on Monday, December 31. However, he did not reveal what led to her death but the filmmaker surely misses his mom.
The young man further disclosed that his late mother was more than a mom but stood as a mother figure to many. He also referred to her as his teacher, rock and world. On what he will miss about her, Novia said he would miss her glowing smile.

His Instagram post reads: “She passed away in the early hours of the 31st of December 2018. Mummy. Mother. Friend. You were more than a mother. And a mother to all. Teacher. My rock. My world. Your memories will forever remain. And that glowing smile.... Clara Osayuware Uwaifo... Rest, My Mother. Rest.”

On Tuesday, January 1, the filmmaker summoned courage to wish his fans happy New Year. His post reads: “May the New Year bring us all Fulfilled Hopes, New Achievements and Great Health and Peace. Happy New Year, All!”
