Several people all over the world suffer from mental health issues. In Nigeria a mad person is often recognised by his or her appearance and utterances.
It is very common to see mentally unstable people roaming the streets but it is quite surprising to see a whole family suffering from the same problem.
Legit.ng earlier reported that a former National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Progress Oberiko, took to her Facebook page to alert people to the plight of a mentally challenged family of five roaming the streets of Cross River.
The interesting thing about the family is that they seemed to communicate in good English despite their unkempt appearance. The good samaritan’s post went viral and the family got the much needed medical attention.
The former corper recently took to her Facebook page to share an amazing transformation photo of the group.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian man identified as Otunba (@femoch) was very moved after he spotted a white woman rescuing a mentally-ill lady off the streets of Port Harcourt.
According to him, the woman even went as far as buying the sick lady food to eat and calling an ambulance to get her to the hospital for proper medical attention.
