Liverpool bounced back to winning ways in the Premier League following a narrow 1-0 win away at Brighton.
The Reds talisman Mohamed Salah scored his 14th league goal of the season from the spot to extend Liverpool's lead at the top to seven points.
The first half was a keenly contested one as Chris Hughton's side look to frustrate the league leaders who dominated possession but could not find the opening.

However, in the 50th minute, Salah converted a spot-kick after a Liverpool player was brought in the box as Jurgen Klopp's men went ahead by 1-0.
Brighton who have scored in every home game tried to fight their way back into the match but could not break the organized Liverpool defence.
However, Georginio Wijnaldum's 80th minute shot from outside of the 18-yard box went just wide as Brighton breathe a sigh of relief.

There were no more goals in the match as the Merseyside club ran away with the 1-0 win courtesy of a penalty from Salah.
