President Muhammadu Buhari has lamented about the difficulties faced by his administration in fighting corruption in the country.
The Guardian reports that President Buhari said this in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state during the All Progressives Congress Presidential campaign rally.

The president also said his administration is planning to re-organise the Nigerian police and the judiciary to minimise corruption in this two sectors.
He said: "We are doing our best by trying to re-organise the Nigerian police and the judiciary itself because we put people into public office without their own houses. But within three years, they built houses in Abuja, opened accounts in Europe and America and we can’t touch them. Anyone we discover, we take them to court. And we hope they will be prosecuted."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Ebonyi traditional rulers council on Wednesday, January 30, endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari for a second term.
The royal fathers have resolved to ensure the success of President Buhari in the February 16 presidential election.
The royal fathers gave the assurance during an audience with the president at the Ebonyi state Government House in Abakaliki.
