The Peoples Democratic Party has asked Nigerians to vote out President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019 general elections, adding that the APC had failed to deliver on all its 2015 campaign promises.
Director General of the Atiku/Obi Campaign Organisation and President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki, who made this statement at the presidential campaign rally in Ilorin, Kwara state, said the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government has failed in all facets of governance.

Saraki said: “APC promised Nigeria a lot of things. They promised us security, at a time we had security problem only in the North East, but now it has extended to North Central, and even the North West. APC has failed because security has worsened.
“People are dying of hunger because the economy has gone terribly bad. They have also failed in fighting corruption. The hunger is serious in the country today. Nigeria is today the world’s poverty capital. We need a president that will fix the economy, create jobs and unite Nigerians.”

Legit.ng earlier reported that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 elections was on Wednesday, December 5, endorsed by the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP).
The coalition comprises the main opposition PDP and 45 other opposition parties.
Formal adoption of the former vice president by the parties was disclosed by Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, a former governor of Osun state and chairman of the coalition at the opening of a meeting of the national chairmen of parties involved.
