Atiku Abubakar has wished President Muhammadu Buhari a happy birthday as the latter celebrates his 76th birthday.
In a tweet on Monday, December 17, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party wished Buhari long life.

He acknowledged that although they are set to battle it out at the presidential polls soon, he still believes that they are brothers from the same country.

Legit.ng previously reported that a former president Goodluck Jonathan, on Sunday, December 16, sent a congratulatory message to his immediate successor, President Buhari, ahead of his 76th birthday celebration.
Jonathan, in the message he signed in Abuja, thanked God for blessing Buhari with the grace of a long life while noting that the president had contributed so much to the development of Nigeria, having served the nation in different capacities.
He also described Buhari as always giving his best whenever he is called upon to serve.
Meanwhile, some Nigerian women took to the streets of Abuja to celebrate with President Buhari as he turned 76. The women under the aegis of African Women Arise for Change and Good Governance were at the Unity Fountain to declare their support for the president with a six-step cake baked in honour of the president.
They also called on Nigerians to join hand for the reelection of President Buhari for the forthcoming 2019 presidential election.
