“The first goal was an accident because we were in full control but suddenly we were another team.

“I am really very worried, not for the result, but the fact we didn't react to the first goal of the opponent.

“We didn't react at all and I am very worried for this. I have to understand why the team was suddenly another team.

“We were in control of the match. It wasn't a big problem. Then we lost everything - our football and the result.”

Sarri also insisted that the changes he made did not affect the outcome of the result: “I don't think it depends on the changes, it depends on the mentality of the team.”

And the 59-year-old suggested his side were too over-confident and may benefit from a reality check ahead of the showdown with City on Saturday.
