Former Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand is confident Manchester United still has what it takes to bounce back.
Rio however admitted that his former club's current performance was of concern and said it was particularly painful for him as an ex-player to see United in such shape.

"Manchester United's performance is very disappointing and as a fan I can't sit here and say that I am happy, especially as a former player we feel it more but during such times, we always looked to big games," the ex-Three Lions defender said.
The Red Devils veteran, who won six Premier League titles and 14 trophies, including the Champions League with United, said beating Liverpool at Anfield was crucial.

"It's a massive game. I remember scoring at Anfield and seeing their veins popping out, like they wanna kill you. Best feeling ever. If you could bottle that feeling up and sell it, you'd be a millionaire," Rio said.
"Winning at Anfield will be a big morale booster. It's a great opportunity to lift the fans. I hope they go there and get three points because that will help them get themselves back on track," he said.
