- IPMAN president has congratulated President Buhari on his 76th birthday celebration

The national president of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Chinedu Okoronkwo, on Monday, December 17, congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his 76th birthday celebration.
Okoronkwo said having taking over power on May 29, 2015, President Buhari has shown utmost concern for the affairs of the country.
The IPMAN boss also wished the president more wisdom and strength in his effort to steer the affairs of the nation to a brighter light.

He said: "Happy birthday to you, President Muhammadu Buhari. I wish you more wisdom and strength as you continue running the affairs of our dear nation. On the occasion of your 76th birthday, I write to congratulate and felicitate with you. I pray that this day meets you well and that there shall be many happy returns."

He also assured the president that the association will do everything within his power to ensure adequate supply of petroleum products to motorists and consumers during the yuletide season.

His message to the president comes a few days after the Supreme Court declared him national president of IPMAN.
In a unanimous judgment, the apex court struck out the appeal of Chief Lawson Obasi, the Supreme Court also imposed a N2 million fine against Obasi to be paid to Okoronkwo.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the presidential candidate for the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, wished President Buhari a happy birthday as the latter celebrated his 76th birthday.

In a tweet on Monday, December 17, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party wished Buhari long life.
Atiku also acknowledged that although they are set to battle it out at the presidential polls soon, he still believes that they are brothers from the same country.
