Being a successful entrepreneur and media personality is not an easy accomplishment. So for popular blogger Linda Ikeji, flaunting her wealth, fame and status is something she does not mind doing at all. However, many Nigerians have shown that they do not exactly appreciate her showing off and behaving as if the world is totally at her feet.
Recently, the successful blogger took to organising a Thanksgiving service in honour of her son who is now three months. The ceremony which was very elaborate was a church affair that saw in attendance several important dignitaries.
For one, several celebrities like comedian AY, Frank Oshodi and the likes in the entertainment industry were on ground to witness the dedication of the child in the church. Even more, other celebrated personalities in politics and business were also in attendance.
The likes of vice presidential candidate Peter Obi, billionaire businessman Leo Stan Eke and female entrepreneur Tara Durotoye graced the occasion. In the midst of all these dignified guests, Linda Ikeji considered herself to be in the same status quo and class with them.

This was reflected in one of her comments to one of the pictures she posed for. The photo which depicted her with the likes of Peter Obi and Leo Stan Eke was captioned with these words: "Jayce surrounded by greatness in Church . With billionaire businessman Leo Stan Eke and Vice Presidential candidate Peter Obi. And of course his billionaire mum ❤ #Grateful."
Without doubt, Linda considered herself to be just as rich and important as the people who had taken time out to celebrate with her.

Well, this perception of herself has not gone down well with many Nigerians. Many of them which have come across her comment so far have taken it to mean that she is being proud and boastful.
For them, rather than go all out to blow her trumpet and flaunt herself as she is known to do, Linda should be humble as this was the only way to retaining all she has acquired over time. Even more, some addressed other pressing matters. See some of their reactions below:

Without doubt, it can be said that the level of criticism Linda's self exaltation received was made even more intense due to the recent revelations she made about her baby daddy. Although Nigerians were sympathetic about her story, they could not but also roll their eyes at the gray areas of the details she laid out about her conception.
